Magnafloc LT27AG, LT30 and LT340 Alternatives — Three-Lane Powder Selection
ChinaPAM accepts Magnafloc LT27AG, LT30 and LT340 alternative-supply enquiries and routes each complete label through its own anionic powder test lane. LT27AG is a separate model from LT27. The retained 2015 BASF chart places the three powders at different charge and relative molecular-weight positions, so we preserve the exact identity, compare the stated lane on your material and quote the selected ChinaPAM grade only after the result closes.
Supply Route Comparison
Published reference data and the ChinaPAM route for Magnafloc LT27AG / LT30 / LT340
MAGNAFLOC is a trademark of its respective trademark holder. ChinaPAM is independent of that company. LT27AG, LT30 and LT340 are named only to identify the exact products a buyer is comparing. Their positions are attributed to a historical 2015 BASF Magnafloc LT portfolio chart and are qualitative chart readings, not current specifications or proof of availability. Our products are separately branded ChinaPAM grades and are not licensed copies.
| Parameter | ChinaPAM Supply Route | Magnafloc LT27AG / LT30 / LT340 |
|---|---|---|

Related Articles
1. Start with the complete model identity
Send the bag label or current product document and retain every character: LT27AG, LT30 or LT340. LT27AG is not LT27 and does not belong to the existing LT20/LT25/LT27 decision route.
A confirmed identity selects the correct row below. If the label is incomplete, ChinaPAM keeps the enquiry open and asks for the missing identity once rather than guessing.
2. ChinaPAM can quote a distinct test lane for each label
ChinaPAM accepts all three enquiries as anionic powder selection work. The answer is not a generic “same product” statement: each exact label has a separate first lane and one controlled comparison lane.
The winning lane is quoted after process intake and a matched-material test. No current competitor availability or one-to-one equivalence is assumed.
3. Three labels, three test-lane designs
The lane names are trial inputs. They are not rankings of commercial availability and do not convert the BASF chart into ChinaPAM specifications.
| Exact label | First lane | Comparison lane | Why both are tested |
|---|---|---|---|
| LT27AG | K62 | 1054V | Compare the lower first lane with a higher-MW/higher-charge position |
| LT30 | 1054 / 1054VK | 635A / 635B | Compare a high-charge/high-MW lane with a very-high-charge/MW lane |
| LT340 | 1063 | 1054 / 1054VK | Compare a high-charge medium-MW lane with a higher-MW position |
4. What the 2015 BASF chart supports
The chart identifies the family as solid-grade flocculants and coagulation aids, shows powder context and plots the three full model labels separately on the anionic side.
Approximate charge-axis readings are around -30 for LT27AG, -50 for LT30 and -40 for LT340. Among these three, LT27AG sits highest, LT30 in the middle and LT340 lowest on the relative molecular-weight axis. These are chart readings, not numeric product specifications.
5. Keep the two supplier scales separate
The historical BASF chart and ChinaPAM’s qualitative bands were produced by different parties for different purposes. Similar words or nearby visual positions do not create a mathematical conversion.
ChinaPAM uses its own grade descriptions to choose a sensible test bracket, then measures the actual feed response. The public page never draws an equals sign between the two scales.
6. Collect the process inputs before setting the dose ladder
Provide application, feed composition, pH, conductivity or hardness, temperature, solids, flow, incumbent dose, dose point and the outcome that controls purchase approval.
Also describe dry-powder feeder, wetting, dissolution tank, ageing time, shear, pump and working concentration. These inputs determine whether the trial result can be reproduced at plant scale.
7. Run incumbent, first lane and comparison lane on the same material
Use one representative batch of feed and the same mixing sequence. Run the incumbent, the first lane and no more than one comparison lane across a dose ladder.
Repeat the best condition on another representative batch or an adverse operating condition. A lane is accepted only when it remains operationally usable and meets the pre-agreed metric.
8. Failure modes that must be caught before procurement
Identity, scale and document date create three separate risks.
| Risk | Possible result | Verification |
|---|---|---|
| Complete label is shortened or replaced by a nearby LT number | Wrong chart row, wrong lane and wrong page are used | Lock a label photo and current incumbent document; preserve LT27AG in full |
| Historical chart and ChinaPAM bands are treated as one numeric scale | A false one-to-one claim narrows the trial incorrectly | Use the positions only to design a bracket and decide from measured results |
| 2015 supply fields are repeated as current | Unsupported availability, package, shelf-life or manufacturing claim | Confirm current ChinaPAM documents and commercial terms at quotation |
9. Tie acceptance, documents and quotation to the winning lane
Select only the metrics relevant to the duty: clarification, settling, filtrate turbidity or TSS, filter rate, cake or underflow solids, dose, throughput, floc shear tolerance and solution operability.
The quotation identifies the winning ChinaPAM grade, packaging, quantity, destination and current lead-time basis. Current TDS, SDS and applicable COA terms belong to that ChinaPAM grade, not to the historical BASF chart.
10. Go or no-go: close the lane without overstating the result
Proceed only when the complete identity, process intake, same-material results and current ChinaPAM documents agree. If they do not, keep the enquiry open for the missing item or reject that test lane.
A failed lane does not prove that every ChinaPAM route is unavailable, and a successful laboratory result is not rewritten as guaranteed plant performance. Current price, availability, lead time, applicable TDS and sample arrangements are confirmed only after the selected route and order requirement are reviewed. Batch-specific COA terms are confirmed with the shipment.
Brand Equivalents & Replacements
ChinaPAM handles these three exact powder enquiries from one comparison page because the buyer must first distinguish the labels and then choose the correct lane. LT27AG, LT30 and LT340 remain separate anchors inside the page; they are not aliases, and LT27AG is never shortened to LT27. The named ChinaPAM grades are test lanes, not declared equivalents.
| Brand | Grade | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| BASF Magnafloc | LT27AG / LT30 / LT340 | The historical 2015 portfolio chart plots three distinct anionic powder labels at different charge and relative-MW positions. ChinaPAM assigns a separate two-grade test lane to each exact label. Chart position guides the trial; it does not prove one-to-one equivalence. |

Frequently Asked Questions — Magnafloc LT27AG, LT30 and LT340 Alternatives — Three-Lane Powder Selection
Does this page cover Magnafloc LT27 as well as LT27AG?
No. LT27AG is a separate complete model identity. LT20, LT25 and LT27 are handled by the existing Magnafloc LT20/LT25/LT27 decision page; this page owns only LT27AG, LT30 and LT340 enquiries.
Can ChinaPAM quote for all three models from one enquiry?
Yes, if each complete label and duty are identified. ChinaPAM assigns the appropriate lane to each exact label and quotes the selected grade after process review and testing. The three anchors remain separate decisions inside one page.
Are K62, 1054V, 1054VK, 635A, 635B and 1063 declared equivalents?
No. They are bounded test-lane candidates selected from ChinaPAM’s own qualitative bands. The incumbent chart and ChinaPAM scale are not numerically convertible, and the same-material test determines suitability.
Are the 2015 Magnafloc packaging and shelf-life statements current?
This page does not treat them as current. The retained record is historical. Current ChinaPAM packaging, availability, lead time and documents are confirmed for the selected grade in the quotation.
What should I send to start an LT powder comparison?
Send the full bag label, application, feed or slurry conditions, incumbent dose and make-down, equipment, dose point and acceptance targets. A label photo prevents LT27AG from being mistaken for LT27.
