Frequently Asked Questions — APAM High Molecular Weight
What is the typical dosage for municipal wastewater?
Typical dosage is 1–3 ppm (mg/L) for clarification. Conduct a jar test with actual wastewater to determine optimal dose — overdosing causes re-stabilization and wasted chemical cost.
Can it be used for potable water projects?
Only use potable-water grades when the exact grade, batch, and required local documents are confirmed in writing. We do not publish regulated-use claims unless the supporting document is available for that order.
How long does it take to dissolve?
Dissolve in 0.1–0.3% solution with slow stirring for 60 minutes. Avoid high-shear mixing which degrades polymer chains and reduces effectiveness.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
MOQ is 500 kg (20 × 25 kg bags). Standard lead time is 7–10 days from order confirmation. Full container (25 MT) ships in 15–20 days.
